Privacy

Understand the minimal data used to deliver ChordMetric.

Scope of this privacy notice

ChordMetric provides public reference pages and browser-based tools without accounts, forms, newsletters or direct data submission. Optional Google Analytics is available only after a visitor accepts analytics. Advertising remains disabled.

Information processed to deliver the site

Cloudflare may process request, network, device and security information needed to deliver and protect the Worker. ChordMetric does not deliberately collect piano selections, chord choices or measurements as personal records. Tool state is handled in the browser and ordinary page requests may appear in infrastructure logs under the provider’s applicable settings.

Audio and device access

Generated tones use the browser Web Audio API after a button press. The site does not request microphone, camera, geolocation, contacts, MIDI-device, push-notification or media-library access.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

Optional Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager only after a visitor selects “Accept analytics”. It may process online identifiers, device and browser information, visited pages, approximate location derived from network information, referrals and aggregate interactions. Declining analytics does not limit the website.

The analytics choice is stored locally in the browser so it can be respected on later visits. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. Google Ads, AdSense, affiliate tracking and third-party advertising tags are not enabled. Essential hosting and abuse-prevention mechanisms may operate at infrastructure level.

Contact and rights

ChordMetric has no direct form or dedicated contact channel. Website correspondence and rights requests are routed through Maple Web Group at maplewebgroup.com. Visitors should avoid sending recordings, sheet music or unnecessary personal information.

Change control

Before advertising, accounts, saved work or additional measurement technologies are introduced, this notice and the consent implementation must be updated and reviewed. The effective date for this notice is 28 August 2026.
